SHUMBA Football Development blends and unites over 80 young stars of all abilities and cultures from areas such as Olivenhoudt, Sandton, Diepsloot, Tembisa, Bryanston, Cosmo City, Soshanguve and Alexandra.

Our primary focus is to address the critical aspect of football skills transfer, whilst the overall goal is to improve the quality of the lives of the young stars, their family’s and the communities. The team trains from Leeuwkop Correctional Services from Monday to Friday, plays games Saturdays and Sundays depending on the Fixture.

Since its launch in November 2010, RMF has commenced and assisted a number of initiatives and programs to help less fortunate children in Australia, Tonga, Albania, South Africa and many other countries. These initiatives include:

  •  Sponsoring talented youngsters;
  •  Providing football equipment to various less fortunate football associations;
  •  Assisting football programs and matches in conjunction with various football associations and football clubs to promote social activity through football.
  •  Recycling donated boots as well as pre-loved and unused uniforms for redistribution to children that cannot afford new boots or uniforms.

The Luthando Zibeko Foundation is a voluntary and non-profit organisation which was established ensuing a collective social commitment to make a meaningful contribution in the creation of equal opportunities for rural youth, women and destitute children.
